Born on 14th August 1977, Gautam Rode is an Indian actor and a former model, working in Bollywood and TV serials.

Gautam started his acting career in Bollywood with movie Annarth opposite Preeti Jhangiani. He has also done a lot of ads as well as albums. Gautam was featured in an album Tere Bina, by Abhijeet Bhattacharya.

Gautam’s most memorable roles in television have been in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby an NRI Anish whom Baby falls in love with.

After that, Rode was seen in the kid’s adventure TV programme Lucky in which he played the title character, a young con who runs a fake antique shop in Chor Bazaar.

Rode made his Bollywood comeback in 2009 with Ram Gopal Verma’s horror flick titled Agyaat where Gautam enacted the role of Sharman.

During September 2010, Gautam featured in a first of a kind 16-episodic story for the acclaimed horror show Aahat, titled Maut Ka Khel, which featured 16 popular faces of the Hindi Television Industry.

Rode was also hosted India’s Got Talent along with Meiyang Chаng on Colors TV. Currently, he is hosting Nach Baliye 5 along with Karan Wahi on Star Plus.

Gautam was also seen in many serials like Betiyaan Apni Yaa Paraaya Dhan, Simplly Sapney, Mata Ki Chowki, Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah, Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Parichay, Teri Meri Love Stories (1st Episode). Currently he is playing the lead role of Saraswatichandra in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s show Saraswatichandra on Star Plus.
